God is at work in Iran

THE RANKING CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION

The Church in Iran is struggling and ranks 10 on the World Watch List. They are considered to be "a crime against national security." This is how the Iranian government views Muslims who become Christians.

It is forbidden for Iranians to become Christians, as it is assumed that all Iranians are born Muslims, and converting Muslims is punishable.

Christians are often imprisoned as criminals, and even in sentences the Bible is mentioned as contraband or an object of crime.

Nevertheless, the government denies this persecution, stating that there are about 300 churches active in Iran. However, several international Christian organizations state that the number of imprisonments of Christians will increase by a factor of 6 by 2024!

However, that does not stop Iranians from seeking the truth and, of course, it does not stop the work of God's hands either.

THE WORKSHOP:

Encouragement: Persecuted Christians experience tremendous encouragement when they know that they are being thought of and prayed for in other countries.

Supporting house churches: We support several small house churches of Iranian Christians. This means that we (partially) pay for the needs of the pastor. The new believers, who are almost always from a different religious background, receive education and training in these congregations. For this purpose, we make (digital) reading materials available through our reading project. We also enable congregation members to provide diaconal assistance to those around them. This creates openings to share something of the Gospel.

Join us and support us!

The Seven Ministries tells the people of Elam the good news of God's Love and God's Word (John 3:16) and God transforms Iran into a Christian nation, one soul at a time. (God's promise in Jeremiah 49: 38 - 39)

Supporting our work can be done in many ways:

  • Pray with us for the Iranians, that they may come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior.
  • Encourage persecuted Christians and let them know that they are being thought of and prayed for in other countries.
  • Receive our newsletter and let others know about Seven Ministries.
  • Donate and support Seven Ministries projects.
